Bergamot { inspired by orto parisi bergamask }
A fragrance born from contradiction. Bergamot opens with a sharp, unfiltered burst of sun-ripened bergamot — bright, bitter, and almost blinding in its intensity. It is the smell of citrus groves at midday, of oil-slicked rinds crushed underfoot on warm, cracked earth.
But the light doesn't last.
As the freshness settles, the ground rises to meet it. A deep, loamy accord of wet soil, raw musk, and mineral heat slowly swallows the citrus whole — not destroying it, but pulling it down into something richer, darker, and infinitely more human. The bergamot never truly disappears; it lingers like a ghost trapped beneath layers of skin and clay.
Bergamot is the fragrance of duality — the cultivated and the wild, the pristine and the primal. It smells like hands that have worked the earth and then been brought to the face. Clean and dirty in the same breath.
It does not fade. It roots itself into you.
