Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at limitedscents . We want you to be completely satisfied with your fragrance purchase. However, because perfume is a cosmetic product and classified as a flammable liquid, there are specific guidelines we must follow regarding returns.

1. Return Window

You have [14] days from the date you received your item to request a return. After [14] days, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we can only accept returns if:

  • The perfume bottle is unopened and unused.
  • The original cellophane wrap/protective seal is completely intact.
  • The item is in its original, undamaged packaging.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Opened bottles or bottles with broken seals.
  • Sample vials or "discovery sets."
  • Gift cards.
  • Items purchased on "Final Sale" or during specific clearance events.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Fragrance bottles are fragile. If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or with a broken sprayer, please contact us immediately at limitedscents@gmail.com

To expedite your claim, please include:

  1. Your Order Number.
  2. Clear photos of the damaged bottle and the shipping box.
  3. A brief description of the issue.

We will replace the damaged item or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you.

4. How to Initiate a Return

If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note: Because perfume contains alcohol, it is classified as a hazardous material. You must use a ground shipping service to return the item. Do not send returns via Air Mail.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Changed your mind: If you are returning an item because of a change of heart or a "blind buy" you didn't like, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Incorrect or Damaged Item: If we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged, we will provide a pre-paid shipping label.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email. If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within [5–10] business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

7. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

8. International Returns (If Applicable)

At this time, we [do/do not] accept returns on international orders due to shipping restrictions on flammable liquids. Please ensure you are certain of your purchase before ordering internationally.
